Planning Policy Consultation

This consultation has now closed.

The Core Strategy was submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination in September 2012. The formal hearing sessions of the Examination in Public (EiP) took place between 14 and 22 of January 2014. During these sessions it was discussed that a series of main modifications be made to the Core Strategy for the purposes of soundness.

The proposed modifications were available for comment during a six-week consultation period. The Council also published additional work resulting from the hearings for comment as part of the consultation.

The consultation documents are available to download and were also available for reference at the Council’s offices, Longridge Civic Hall and local libraries during their normal opening hours.
