Delegation Scheme

The delegation scheme is a set of rules which determines whether a planning application will be decided by the Planning and Development Committee or by the Director of Economic Development and Planning under the delegation arrangements.

The currently adopted Scheme of Delegation set out here was agreed by Planning and Development Committee on 9 July 2024.
