Winter Weather and Gritting
The winter gritting service to roads in Ribble Valley is carried out by Lancashire County Council Gritting.
During periods of snow and severe weather, gritting may take considerably longer to complete. Lancashire County Council clear the network in a priority order.

School closures
Lancashire County Council also provide information on unavoidable closures during times of severe weather. This includes schools, recycling centres, libraries and museums.
