Still Time to Sign Up for Council Tax E-Billing and Scoop £100 Prize
There is still time to sign up for council tax e-billing in Ribble Valley and scoop a £100 shopping voucher.
Over 500 people have already signed up for e-billing at Ribble Valley Borough Council and if you join them by April 1 you will be entered into a prize draw.
Council tax and business ratepayers in Ribble Valley can now access their accounts 24/7.
Council Tax Online and Business Rates Online offer access to a raft of round-the-clock features at https://www.ribblevalley.gov.uk/council-tax
You can use your online account to check your council tax or business rates, sign up for e-billing and view or download bills.
You can also notify the council of a change of address, request or cancel a single person discount and view or change your contact details.
To sign up for the online accounts you simply go to ribblevalley.gov.uk and have your name, account number and an online key, which you will find beneath the account number on the front of your council tax or business rates bill, to hand.
Council tax and business rates bills for 2024/25 will start dropping through letterboxes soon.
Mark Edmondson, Ribble Valley Borough Council’s head of revenues and benefits, said: “Council Tax Online and Business Rates Online give people the convenience of accessing their council tax or business rates accounts at a time that suits them.
“It also reduces our printing and postage costs, which helps us maintain the lowest council tax rate in Lancashire and reduce our carbon footprint, so it’s good for the environment, too.”
