Final Call for £3,000 Ukraine Community Grant Funding
Ribble Valley Borough Council are calling on organisations and community groups to apply for funding grants of up to £3,000 to help support the Ukraine community by a deadline date of 21 July.
The Ukraine community grant scheme provides funding to support the integration of Ukrainian families who have settled in the Ribble Valley.
Following the success of an initial funding round where all funding was allocated, additional funds are now available, up to a total maximum fund value of £12,000.
Applications are welcomed from all community groups and organisations who feel that they can host projects and activities in support of the Ukrainian community, no matter how large or small.
Rachael Stott, Ribble Valley Borough Council’s housing strategy officer, said: “Ribble Valley has an ongoing commitment to supporting the integration of Ukrainian families into our local communities.
This scheme is a fantastic opportunity for a range of organisations, from community groups to social enterprises, to secure funding of up to £3,000 and deliver high quality community integration support.
We would really like to broaden the participation across our community, and we welcome applications from those groups who may not currently have links with the Ukrainian community or who could provide the community with alternative and more diverse experiences.”
Any organisations or groups who may wish to discuss their application before submission should contact Oksana Sikorska, Homes for Ukraine Administration Assistant, who would be more than happy to help.”
Applications should be submitted by the deadline date and by email to HomesForUkraine@lancashire.gov.uk
