Calling all history lovers and those interested in the past. Medieval Lancashire will explore the early times of Lancashire from 1066-1200 to include castles, people, and places.

Placing the events in the context of wider British history, The Norman Conquest, and the Civil War the session is delivered by Lancashire Adult Learning using maps, primary and secondary sources to discover the rich and diverse history of Lancashire and Britain as a whole. The session will look at key historical debates on some of the most controversial issues of the time. If you love discussing history, finding out about the past, and sharing your knowledge and ideas with others then this is the right course for you. This introductory session creates the foundation for a longer course on Medieval Lancashire Castles, People and Places. This event is free to all adults over 19.
