Perseid Meteor Shower
Join members of Preston & District Astronomical Society on this late-night event, as they guide us through the fascinating world of meteors.
The Perseid meteor shower is one of the highlights of the summer night sky and they should be at the height of their activity around this date. And whilst (given the Lancashire weather!) we can't guarantee a display, we'll be keeping everything crossed. If the clouds roll in, PADAS will guide us through what meteors actually are, how to observe them and how to capture them on camera. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Free Booking essential.
