Come and try out a Tramper with us and enjoy the landscape around Churn Clough Reservoir near Sabden!

Trampers are specially designed, all-terrain electric buggies, which can be used on country tracks, uneven ground, mud and grass. They can help people who have difficulty walking, or who may be less mobile, to experience the countryside and to accompany friends and family in the great outdoors. Around two and a half miles long, this circular walk climbs gradually from the village of Sabden to the edge of Churn Clough reservoir before looping back to the start. The route offers plenty of opportunity to take in views of famous Pendle Hill and even, on a clear day, Darwen Tower away to the south west. First-time Tramper users will receive a full induction before each guided session. Sessions available at: 9:45am - 11.15am 11.45am - 1.15pm 1.45 pm - 3.15pm Additional family and friends are very welcome. The route has been graded as Disabled Ramblers category 2 - Moderate. (There is a minimum age for use of the Tramper and any under 18s on the walk must be accompanied by an adult.) Toilets and refreshments are available in Sabden village. Booking essential.
