INVITATION TO TENDER FOR BRUNGERLEY PARK IMPROVEMENTS

Scheme Details

Ribble Valley Borough Council have issued an Invitation to Tender to all those wishing to tender to the Council for the Improvements to Brungerley Park, Clitheroe, Lancashire. Brungerley Park is a country park on the northerly edge of the town of Clitheroe. It is partially set in a former quarry and comprises a number of linear pathways at high and low levels.

This contract is for improvements to the high-level paths at Brungerley Park and the provision of protective guard rails. The high-level paths are generally set in a wooded area with a steep incline down towards the former quarry bottom and the River Ribble in places. The protective guard rails are to prevent near-vertical falls into the former quarry bottom.

The paths at the lower level are generally adjacent to the River Ribble, these paths are closed due to erosion and unsafe banking and no work is required under this project.

The closing date for the return of all documents is 2:00pm on Friday 6th December 2024.
