Council Buildings

We undertake condition surveys of the council properties and undertake planned maintenance.

We look to improve the condition of our building stock by undertaking regular maintenance and upgrading components when the replacement point is reached.

We hold condition survey data on our property portfolio on a central asset management system, allocating identified work to our direct works team and external contractors.

Environmental management

We aim to minimise our impact on the environment. We work to reduce the Council's use of energy in order to save money.

We have undertaken many energy saving measures including:

• Low energy light fittings
• Improved insulation
• Lighting motion sensors
• High Efficiency Boilers
