Business Waste Collection

The Council offers a commercial waste collection service. All non-domestic premises, including schools and charities must use a commercial waste service to dispose of their refuse.

The Environmental Protection Act 1990 provides information on the responsibilities of businessess and commercial waste removal.

What Commercial Waste Services does the council provide?

We can provide large commercial bins or sacks depending on which is best for the business.

What is the cost for this service?

Business Rates do not cover the removal of waste from commercial premises.

Commercial Bulky Waste

We offer a chargeable service for the removal of bulky waste from commercial premises.

The minimum charge for the service is £66.20 however all collections will be assessed and then you would be advised of the exact cost. If you would like to book a collection contact us contact@ribblevalley.gov.uk or 01200 425111.

Please note we do not collect commercial fridges or freezers. If you have one of these that need collecting please contact us and we will advise how to dispose of these.
