Do you have an exciting Arts, Sports or Community project, activity or service? Then you can apply for a Recreation and Culture Grant. The grant supports the future health and wellbeing of the Ribble Valley community by developing it's culture and recreation. More information. 

Arts Excellence Awards Scheme

Arts Excellence grants are awarded by Ribble Valley Borough Council and are designed to assist young talented performer’s progress in their chosen activity. The main aim of the scheme is to help with the cost of tuition, travel and equipment associated with their activity. More information.

Hyndburn and Ribble Valley's CVS main focus is promoting, organising and cooperating in initiatives to advance education, protect health and relieve poverty, distress and sickness, through bringing together voluntary organisations and statutory authorities for the benefit of the communities they support.

Lancashire County Council, Crowdfund Lancashire

Supporting Culture and Sport in Lancashire. Crowdfund Lancashire gives anyone a chance to create local culture and sport projects and support the projects which matter most to them. If you have an idea that will improve the culture or sport offer in your community, you could get up to £20,000 towards your target.

Lancashire County Council, Grant Aid for Arts Projects

Provide grants for creative work that contributes to the overall development of the arts in Lancashire. Supporting arts organisations and development initiatives. They do not consider applications from individuals but are keen to discuss ideas to develop them if possible.

Lancashire Environmental Fund

The Lancashire Environmental Fund provides landfill tax funding for a wide variety of projects to improve the environment and bring community benefits throughout the county of Lancashire.

Boost - Lancashire's Busines Growth Hub

Through Boost, Lancashire businesses from start-ups to large companies can get access to a number of funded programmes in areas such as mentoring, scaling up, innovation, international trade, leadership development, and accessing finance. Boost are not currently supporting Ribble Valley based businesses but if your business is based in boroughs supported by them do take a look.

Arts Council England

The Arts Council fund art activities that engage people in England, or that help artists and organisations carry out their work. Grants for the Arts is the main open application process for Arts Council Funding. Other funds are available including, Digital Research and Development Fund for Arts and Culture, Take it Away - helping 18 - 25 year olds buy an instrument with an interest free loan of up to £2,000.

Clore Duffield Foundation

A foundation that is a grant-making charity which concentrates its support on cultural learning, creating learning spaces within arts and heritage organisations.

Heritage Lottery Fund

Using money raised through the National lottery, the Heritage Lottery Fund gives grants to sustain and transform our heritage with grants from £3,000 to over £5million. www.hlf.org.uk

The National Community Fund (was Big Lottery Fund, Awards For All)

The National Community Fund gives out millions of pounds from National Lottery to good causes. Their money goes to community groups and to projects that improve health, education and the environment.
