Review of premises licence or club premises certificate
How to apply to have a licensed premises’ licence reviewed
At any stage following the grant of a premises licence or club premises certificate, a responsible authority, or any other person, may ask the licensing authority to review the licence or certificate because of a matter arising at the premises if they relate to either:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- the prevention of public nuisance
- the protection of children from harm
- public safety
A review application of a premises licence or club premises certificate in Ribble Valley must be made to the Licensing Officer, Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe BB7 2RA or by email to licensing@ribblevalley.gov.uk
It is the responsibility of the applicant for the review to give one copy of the application and any supporting documentation to the holder of the premises licence or club premises certificate for which the review relates. The copy of the application must be served on the licensee at their registered address which may be different to the address of the licensed premises. In addition a copy of the application and any supporting documentation must be served on each of the Responsible Authorities on the same day upon which the application is submitted.
